What does it mean to be Presbyterian?
We are proudly part of the PCUSA denomination. This means many things, but perhaps most important is that we have a specific way of organizing our churches. It also means that we agree with specific stands on theology and social issues, and are accountable to a higher organizational body called the Presbytery of Genesee Valley.
So who do you put your trust in?
Like many Christian churches we would agree that Jesus Christ is the only head of the church. We feel that we know best how to live as followers of Jesus through the lens of our tradition, ecumenical creeds, and confessions, but all of these are subject to Scripture and its interpretation.
